Key Responsibilities
- Must have an understanding of Civil CAD-based drafting procedures.
- Produce drawings using computer-assisted drafting systems (CAD), Civil 3D software.
- Draft plans and detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction various projects.
- Draw maps, diagrams, and profiles, using cross-sections and surveys, to represent elevations, topographical contours, and structures.
- Correlate, interpret, and modify data obtained from topographical surveys, well logs, and geophysical prospecting reports.
- Finish and duplicate drawings and documentation packages, according to required mediums and specifications for reproduction, photography, or other duplicating methods.
- Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from Civil Engineers to ensure that they conform to design concepts.
- Provide Engineers and Surveyors with drafting support.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years civil drafting and design experience, preferred
- Two-year design/drafting degree
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office
