CAD Production Control Clerk

About the role

Help turn CAD drawings into real production as a CAD Production Control Clerk at Whirlwind Steel. You'll work with CAD drawings, nesting, data entry, and quality checks to ensure accurate work for our fabrication shop, supporting both production and drafting teams.

Responsibilities

• Convert CAD drawings and production information into actionable work for the fabrication shop
• Perform nesting, data entry, and quality checks
• Collaborate with production and drafting teams to provide necessary information
• Maintain strong attention to detail and organization while managing multiple priorities

Requirements

• AutoCAD experience required; ProNest experience is a plus or willingness to learn
• Strong computer and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to read and understand CAD drawings and manufacturing details
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with different teams
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent

Schedule

Monday - Friday, starting at 7:00 AM; end time varies based on workload, typically between 4:30 - 6:30 PM. Occasional weekends may be required based on business needs.
