CAD Operator - SolidWorks

Essential Functions

• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software (SolidWorks), and other relevant tools to create, modify, and manage precise technical drawings and schematics for engineering, manufacturing, and product development
• Review and analyze specifications, sketches, and other data to assess factors affecting designs and procedures
• Modify and revise designs to correct deficiencies or improve production processes
• Prepare detailed schematics and blueprints to guide installation, construction, or manufacturing
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Development, and other professionals to discuss and resolve design details
• Convert rough sketches and specifications into detailed drawings
• Ensure all designs comply with company standards and client requirements
• Manage and maintain CAD files, including updates and modifications
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of product designs
• Create pattern templates to be dispersed to necessary departments for production
• Performs other duties as required by supervisor

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED not required
• Previous experience using SolidWorks software (preferably in a furniture manufacturing environment)

Pay Range

Pay range is $26.00 - 27.50
