Cad Operator

Duties / Responsibilities

• Create prints using AutoCAD drawing software for layout diagrams, schematics and construction documents.
• Prepare and maintain plans for new structures and processes.
• Communicate and collaborate with production team regarding print related items.
• Communicate and collaborate with sales regarding orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, degree in drafting preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with and general knowledge of construction standards.
• 2 or more years of experience using CAD systems.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• General understanding of construction standards and familiarity with building codes.

About the Role

• Position Summary: The CAD Technician is responsible for producing drawing files for production and submitting plans by following the serialized orders, state codes and company standards.
• This position will work with the production line personnel to perform root cause analysis on print discrepancies.
