CAD Designer - Warehouse Solutions

Location: New Bremen, OH

About the role

Produce computer-aided design (CAD) drawings for warehouse solutions projects. Collaborate with sales staff and customers to design, verify, and refine layouts that enhance space utilization, product flow, efficiency, and cost reduction.

Responsibilities

• Produce CAD drawings for warehouse products and solutions.
• Collaborate with sales staff in the design of projects, including determining and verifying building measurements and related information.
• Create alternative designs to improve space utilization, product flow, efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Work with sales staff and customers to implement required changes to existing drawings.
• Meet with sales staff and customers at customer locations.
• Visit sites before, during, and after equipment installation to address installation questions and ensure proper installation.
• Work closely with the Warehouse Solutions Coordinator on scheduling and progress of material delivery.
• Assist in coordinating equipment required for installation and perform coordinator functions as needed.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design or at least 5 years of experience with technical drawing in a business environment.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Occasional travel required.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent computer, communication, and customer care skills.
• Technical drawing experience in a business environment.
