Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings including:
- floor plans
- elevations
- sections
- construction details
- foundation plans
- reinforced concrete detailing
- Draft slab-on-grade systems, anchor bolt layouts, and related building details
- Coordinate with structural engineers and project managers throughout project execution
- Maintain organized CAD files and ensure compliance with company drafting standards and local building codes
- Support ongoing BIM/Revit workflow initiatives
- Participate in occasional site visits and field coordination activities
Required Qualifications
- 0-3 years of experience in architectural drafting, CAD design, or structural engineering environments
- Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD
- Xrefs, Dynamic blocks, Layer management
- Understanding of concrete foundation systems and reinforcement detailing
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB)
- Working knowledge of Revit drafting and BIM workflows
- Knowledge of construction codes and zoning regulations
