We support a collaborative environment and value open participation from individuals with different ideas, experiences, and perspectives.
HPAG builds premium, made-in-America bumpers and accessories that flow with a vehicle’s bodylines, deliver aggressive styling, and keep every OEM function intact. From the Bronco Bomber to the Raptor Stealth Fighter, our products live on some of the toughest trucks on the trail — and it all starts in CAD.
About the role
You’ll own the R&D design process end-to-end — creating, refining, and improving products built for the off-road community. Your designs won’t sit on a shelf; they get laser-cut, bent, welded, and bolted onto real trucks. You’ll work hands-on with the Brand Management team that takes parts from screen to physical reality. Made in the USA, built for the elite — you’ll be part of a team obsessed with the details that matter.
Responsibilities
- Create CAD models in SolidWorks daily — from templates, physical parts, or your own designs.
- Build complex 3D sheet metal and tubular assemblies ready for manufacturing.
- Process 3D scans and create scanned mesh models of vehicle data to drive new product development.
- Partner with the prototype engineering team to move new products into automation and production.
- Take open instructions on part and assembly revisions and run with them.
Requirements
- Strong SolidWorks skills — you can manage complex assemblies and create sheet metal and tubular parts with confidence.
- 2 years of experience designing similar automotive or aerospace products.
- Experience with tooling and fixtures, and the know-how to bring a 3D model into physical reality.
- Creative mindset paired with the discipline to translate ideas into clean, manufacturable assemblies.
- Self-motivated and assertive, comfortable in a fast-paced shop where priorities shift quickly.
- Team-first attitude — you put the success of the team above your own interests.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
