It operates across five major segments—optical communications, specialty materials, display technologies, environmental technologies, and life sciences—and its innovations appear in everyday products from consumer electronics to automotive and medical devices. The position is based in Fairport, NY, within one of the company's U.S. manufacturing or engineering operations.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models, part drawings, assembly drawings, and tooling documentation
• Develop part specification drawings defining geometry, tolerances, materials, finishes, and functional requirements
• Design tooling, fixtures, and hardware for grinding, polishing, and metrology operations
• Apply GD&T principles per ASME Y14.5 to support manufacturing and inspection requirements
• Collaborate with engineers, machinists, technicians, and manufacturing staff on practical, manufacturable design solutions
• Incorporate design for manufacturability across both conventional machining and FDM additive manufacturing
• Support revision control and maintenance of released drawings and CAD models
