CAC Financial Analyst, Employee Benefits

About the role

Entry-level position where the candidate will gain the foundational skills needed in employee benefits and insurance to advance client strategies and fulfill objectives of the Financial Team & Employee Benefits Department.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to a wide variety of projects involving design, financing, delivery, ongoing management, and communication of health and group benefit programs for Employee Benefits clients.
• Coordinates reporting workflow, project management, and project communication.
• Completes basic monthly financial reporting, mostly independently, and more complex deliverables and projects with oversight.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; study in business, risk management, math, or relevant work experience preferred.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, xlookup, etc.) required. Experience with macros preferred but not required.
• Power BI (or similar) data visualization experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills in both verbal and written form.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills required.
• Ability to efficiently handle multiple, simultaneous, and complex tasks and projects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Well organized and detail-oriented.
