Cable Technician / Fiber Technician
About the role
Looking for individuals that can work inside and outside building out the data centers. Looking for hard working individuals.
Responsibilities
- Network equipment experience Cat6 termination Fiber knowledge
- Layout and install wireway, buss duct, cable tray, switches, receptacles and other devices.
- Will build closets (Mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware).
- Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required.
- Complete all IDC connections (e.g. terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels).
- Pulls wire and/or oversees and directs conduit installations and wire pulling.
- Operates tools/equipment, normally requiring the use of two hands (examples: cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.).
Requirements
- Must possess and be proficient with the listed tools
- Must have proven skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements
- Know the universal communications color codes

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
