Cable Technician

We are looking for entry-level to experienced low-voltage technicians interested in a long-term career in the trade. This role focuses exclusively on low-voltage cabling—including CAT5, CAT6, and fiber optic cable—and is not an electrical position or a pathway to electrical licensing hours.

About the role

The average workday begins with commuting directly to the job site. The position starts as a 6-month contract and converts to a permanent role upon successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cables (CAT5, CAT6, fiber optic)

Schedule

• 40–45 hours per week
• Overtime is optional and volunteer-based

Pay

$20.00 – $27.00 per hour
