Summary
Cable Processors are responsible for preparing cable for orders for Will Call and all other orders.
What You'll Do
- Lagging reels, cut cable, scrapping cable, weighing cable and box cable
- Place reels on the winder
- Keep the yard outside clean and orderly (if applicable, manage reels to be sure they are orderly)
- Participate in weekly Company Big Goal meetings
- Be open to change and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations
- Additional job duties and responsibilities may be added at any time, as business needs may dictate
Qualifications
- High School or GED - Preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 1+ years of warehouse experience
- Prelude Experience Required
- Ability to read and write in English and basic math skills

- Sit: Must be able to remain in a stationary position - Occasionally – up to 20%
- Walk: Must be able to move about inside/outside office or work location - Constantly – at least 51%
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel: Operates a computer and other office machinery - Constantly – at least 51%

- Climb or balance: Must be able to ascend/descend on a ladder, forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment - Frequently – 21% to 50%
- Talk, hear, taste, smell: Must be able to use senses to effectively communicate with co-workers and clients and detect hazardous conditions - Occasionally – up to 20%
- Up to 10 pounds - Constantly – at least 51%
- Up to 25 pounds - Frequently – 21% to 50%
- Up to 50 pounds - Occasionally – up to 20%
