Cable Operator - 3rd Shift
Position Summary
As a Cable Operator on the third shift (12:00 am - 8:00 am), you will be responsible for operating cable machines at the required speeds. This includes setting up the machines and ensuring they meet the necessary tolerances. You will also perform required tests on the cable and complete all departmental tasks, such as housekeeping and maintaining safety standards. Additionally, you may be required to assist on other cable lines, perform tasks on the shop floor, and carry out other duties as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and operate multiple machines
- Proficient in using a micrometer
- Knowledgeable with in-process testing procedures for manufacturing
- Excellent time management skills to meet production demands efficiently
