Cabinet Technician / Refacing/ Cabinet installer

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with another installer on cabinet redooring, refacing, and installation projects.
• Collaborate with other installers and project managers to execute projects efficiently.
• Follow processes and steps in the installation process to ensure a quality and repeatable end product.
• Adhere to Kitchen Tune-Up Trustpoints on every job.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly, and clean up daily.
• Communicate with the project manager daily about progress.
• Upload progress pictures and daily reports to Buildertrend.

Skills

• Strong work ethic.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with other installers and project managers.
• Able to drill for hinges.
• Able to install doors and drawer fronts.
• Able to install roll-out trays and other organizing accessories in cabinets.
• Able to safely operate power hand tools including a table saw, Mitre/chop saw, power hand saw, router, planer, and powered nail gun.
• Able to lead a team of 2 on the install activities on a job site.
• Able to work in Fort Bend, Harris, Brazoria, and other surrounding areas.
• Able to interact with customers professionally and courteously.
• Able to take personal pride in a job well done the first time.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.

Additional Skills (preferred)

• Prior experience in cabinet refacing and custom cabinet installation.
• Excellent knowledge of cabinet construction and terminology from years of installing cabinets, moldings, etc in kitchens.
• Prior experience in cutting and installing all moldings, including crown.
• Prior experience leading a team of installers.

Benefits

Compensation: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour.

This is a permanent, year-round position with paid training and bonus potential.
