Cabinet Sander / Metal Finish

Responsibilities

• Obtain supplies, position work and follow verbal or written instructions
• Complete tasks as directed with minimum supervision
• Ensure work is done safely and meets acceptable quality and speed
• Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
• Required to wear PPE
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to supervisor
• Run air tools including grinder and sander
• Perform other duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this position
• Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities
• Desire to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities as well as dependable work ethic
• Follow all company rules and policies
• Ability to metal finish to an acceptable quality and speed

Knowledge and Skills

• Adequate communication skills; verbal and written
• Ability to read and understand written instructions
• Ability to run air tools including grinder and sander

Physical Requirements

• Physically able to do bending, twisting, gripping, grasping and lifting
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Physically able to stand for up to 8 hours
• Requires good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to move large doors on and off carts and onto tables and move cabinets around

Education and Work Experience

High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience/combined education.
