Surkado Cabinet Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Shift Production Lead to oversee daily production operations in our modern cabinet manufacturing facility in Las Vegas, NV. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will lead a team of 4–6 production employees while operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced woodworking equipment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the production shift
- Assign work and ensure production goals are achieved
- Operate and oversee: Beam saw, Edgebander, CNC routers, CNC drilling machines
- Train and mentor production employees
- Monitor quality throughout production
- Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and perform basic mechanical repairs
- Coordinate outside service when larger repairs are required
- Reduce machine downtime
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Help improve production efficiency and workflow
- Monitor tooling and consumables
- Communicate production issues to management
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cabinet manufacturing
- Experience operating: Beam saws, Edgebanders, CNC routers, CNC drilling equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable troubleshooting equipment
- Ability to read cabinet drawings and production paperwork
- Leadership experience supervising production employees
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Forklift experience preferred
