CA Resident Speech Language Pathologist for AAC Evaluations (remote)

About the role

TalkPath Live partners with schools to provide teletherapy services to students, during school hours. We seek a Speech Language Pathologist who is both a California resident and who is experienced in AAC evaluations. A certificate of training in AAC is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluations would be on a referral basis, so hours each week might vary.
• Additional opportunities are available if you seek more hours.

Requirements

• Therapists should be independent, creative, flexible, and comfortable working on their own computers from home
• Excellent communication skills via email and phone
• Full licensure in your state of residence, allowing independent clinical practice
• AAC training and/or certificate required, and experience with AAC evaluations
• Functional understanding of electronic devices
• A reliable Internet connection and a private space or office, free from distractions, in which to practice

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: Independent, creative, flexible, comfortable working on computers from home; Excellent communication skills; Full licensure in your state of residence; AAC training and/or certificate required; Functional understanding of electronic devices; Reliable Internet connection and a private space or office, free from distractions.
• Preferred, but not required: Experience providing remote, virtual services

Pay

The pay is hourly and is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This is a fully remote, hourly W2 position, working from home. The schedule is flexible and works around school hours.
