About the role

Join our team as we build the future. As part of the team, you will maintain two legacy systems and build the new system that will combine their functionality. Put your development skills to the test and work as part of a SAFe Agile team. You will design, code, and debug with the end result being functioning mission-critical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain two legacy systems
• Build a new system that combines the functionality of the legacy systems
• Design, code, and debug mission-critical capabilities
• Develop complete solutions using back-end and front-end languages
• Write and implement software programming applications using agile methods
• Create solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software development
• 2+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Based Solutions or C#
• Experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks, and Java and JavaScript in a Linux environment
• Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
• Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
• Experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods
• Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
• Top Secret clearance
• High school diploma or GED

Nice If You Have

• Experience creating and testing modules and components for compliance with design specifications
• Experience working in a microservices or distributed application environment
• Experience with HTML, CSS, C#, C, C++, .NET, React, Angular, or NodeJS
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience in Java libraries, including MongoDB, Spring and OSGi
• Experience with Perl, Python, Lua and NGINX
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and team-oriented environment and balance long- and short-term taskings
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• SAFe Software Engineer (ASE) Certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
