About the role
This candidate will work across multiple cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering, to achieve both tactical and strategic goals. Responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the production process, driving issue resolution, and collaborating with key partners to support production growth and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Partner with manufacturing to perform capacity analysis for what-if scenarios, forecast changes, and plan for production and spares business growth.
- Collaborate with purchasing and engineering to ensure Engineering Change Orders are communicated and implemented efficiently.
- Maintain critical path of BOMs and drive engineering to align BOMs with the manufacturing process.
- Actively participate in manufacturing production status meetings, On-Time-Starts meetings, and other required meetings.
- Open, manage, and close work orders to ensure correct factory cost absorption.
- Identify potential supply risks and inventory exposures by reconciling material availability against manufacturing capacity and production plans; develop mitigation plans as needed.
- Escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle count activity and promptly resolve variations.
- Engage manufacturing teams and key stakeholders in continuous improvement processes to identify, prioritize, and execute projects.
Requirements
- Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years of related work experience; or Master’s Level Degree and 3 years of related work experience; or Bachelor’s Level Degree and 5 years of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in low-volume, high-mix manufacturing, with exposure to New Product Introduction and sustaining manufacturing.
- Strong presentation and clear communication abilities; SAP experience preferred.
- Ability to articulate thoughts, concepts, and ideas concisely in both formal and informal settings.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, chart reporting, and data sorting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and strives for excellence; ability and desire to grow with the company.
- Ability to support, participate in, and drive multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- APICS certification is a plus.
Pay
Base pay range: $90,500.00 – $153,900.00 annually.
