About the role

This role involves close collaboration with manufacturing, operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to set and adjust production schedules, ensuring alignment with customer demand and manufacturing capacity.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Sr Manufacturing Manager, Operations Leads, and Engineering to set monthly production schedules.
- Meet regularly with Supply Chain Management to review demand changes and adjust schedules due to unexpected events (e.g., delayed raw material delivery).
- Understand the financial implications of schedule changes.
- Review month-to-date schedule performance against "Make" and "Ship" plans.
- Participate in and facilitate weekly schedule compliance meetings.
- Collaborate with Project Leads and Engineers to procure materials and adjust schedules to allocate machine time.
- Provide project support, including material changes, graphic updates, and BOM form updates.
- Actively collaborate with leadership (Plant Manager, Production Managers, Engineering Leads) to align budget plans with production volumes based on customer demand and manufacturing capacity.
- Maintain business relationships with vendor sales and service representatives.
- Strive to meet or exceed raw material inventory targets in dollars and turns.
- Support plant safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
- Serve as a subject matter specialist in material master data, including MM updates, manufacturing data maintenance, BoM documentation linkage, and purchase parts BoM creation.
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree in an applicable field is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience required; 7-10 years of experience preferred.
