About the role

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which includes Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. It involves developing strategic procurement solutions and completing day-to-day purchasing tasks for various spaceflight systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure program requirements are appropriately prioritized and executed to meet Blue Origin’s needs.
  • Apply company, policies, procedures, work instructions, business standards, and U.S. government regulations, such as FAR, DFAR, and SOX Compliance.
  • Maintain compliant and accurate files and data records.
  • Create and maintain systems and processes to streamline operations.
  • Prepare and issue Requests for Proposal/Requests for Quote, perform cost analysis in support of proposals, and develop negotiation strategies.
  • Lead the identification, implementation, negotiation, execution, and management of strategic agreements, including Long-Term Agreements (LTAs).
  • Support the procurement organization’s strategic direction and ensure corporate strategic objectives are met, such as on-time delivery of production materials within budget and meeting technical performance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience, or Master's degree with 4 years of experience in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related industry experience.
  • Experience in Forgings and Castings, Machined Parts, Raw Material, and Outplant Services buying.
  • Interpret and apply company policies, procedures, and business standards.
  • Ensure timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills, data-driven approach, and experience in establishing and tracking program metrics.
  • Top-notch people and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 standards and Engineering Data such as specifications and source control drawings.
  • An eagerness to identify opportunities, find solutions, execute plans, and evaluate results critically and expediently.
  • Adept at working with different systems and making recommendations on improvements for both systems and processes.

Qualifications

  • Current active DOD Secret Security Clearance and/or Special Access.
  • Passion for Blue Origin’s mission and vision.

Desired

  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Pay

For WA applicants, the range is $96,074.00 - $134,502.90. Other site ranges may differ.
