About the role

Assists buyer at the entry level in merchandising functions, including assortment planning/execution, financial planning/execution, merchandise allocation and replenishment.

Responsibilities

• Supports buyers in development, execution and evaluation of stock assortments and sources of supply for programs.
• Sets up and maintains contracts within the limit of $125,000 per contract.
• Attends professional development training to gain expertise and achieve contracting officer designation.
• Runs reports and prepares presentations as required.
• May participate in tabloid and promotion planning process.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Three years of experience in buying, retail merchandising, planning, allocation, and/or inventory management required.
• Or Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in buying, retail merchandising, planning, allocation, and/or inventory management required.
• Degree (one Of): BACHELORS DEGREE - Preferred Major/Minor (one Of): BUSINESS - Preferred MERCHANDISING - Preferred

Qualifications

• Work – Onsite (HQ – Dallas, Texas)
• Technical (Preferred/Required Skills/Systems): MS OFFICE - INTERMEDIATE - Required
