About the role
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Transient Sales Manager / Corporate Group Blocks to drive room revenue through the solicitation, development, and management of corporate accounts and group room block opportunities.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Possess the ability to prospect, solicit, and secure new corporate accounts to generate business transient room nights and revenue.
- Manage and grow existing negotiated corporate accounts through regular communication, site visits, and account reviews.
- Conduct outside sales calls, networking events, and client appointments to develop new business opportunities.
- Participate in annual corporate RFP processes and negotiate preferred rates with key accounts.
- Maintain accurate account information, activities, and opportunities within the CRM system.
- Generate and secure corporate group room block business for training programs, project teams, relocations, meetings, and other corporate events.
- Collaborate with meeting planners, executive assistants, and corporate travel managers to identify group opportunities.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and room block agreements in a timely manner.
- Conduct hotel site visits and presentations for prospective clients.
- Partner with Operations and Revenue Management teams to ensure successful execution of contracted business.
- Monitor pickup, rooming lists, and block utilization to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on achieving room night and revenue goals.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through continuous prospecting and lead generation.
- Provide weekly sales activity reports, forecasts, and production updates.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
- Attend hotel sales meetings and contribute to overall revenue strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of hotel sales experience preferred.
- Experience in business transient sales, corporate accounts, or group sales strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of hotel sales processes, revenue management principles, and contract negotiations.
- Strong prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Delphi / Salesforce, PEP, Hilton Platform and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for client appointments and networking events.
Performance Expectations

- Conduct a minimum number of weekly prospecting calls, emails, appointments, and site visits.
