About the role

Locke Solutions, a Best Places to Work winner and Aggie 100 honoree, is a premier provider of custom precast concrete solutions. Led by a two‑time Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, we're Houston's #1 Fastest Growing Company, expanding from one to three locations in two years with plans to reach $100M by 2027 and $500M in the next 10 years. Our mission—“To make our customers' lives easier and our employees' lives better”—drives everything we do through our core values: Responsiveness, Team Player, Taking Ownership, Get It Done Attitude, and Problem Solvers. We're a family‑oriented company where high‑performers thrive in our collaborative, high‑energy environment.

The Business Systems Specialist sustains existing business systems, supports employees and processes, and maximizes value from existing tools before building new ones by analyzing system performance, identifying workflow and data issues, configuring and improving solutions, supporting integrations and automation, managing business‑systems initiatives, and ensuring adoption and measurable business value. ERP (Titan/Titan3000) is the primary system of record.

Responsibilities

  • Business System Ownership — Titan health, configuration, modules, permissions and workflows, and vendor coordination.
  • System Intelligence — uses data and AI capability to surface recurring issues, exceptions, correction patterns, and adoption gaps.
  • Business Process Enablement — partners with Process Intelligence and business owners to translate process requirements into system solutions.
  • Automation & Integration — decides whether the right fix is Titan configuration, the Power Platform, an integration, or a process change.
  • Deployment & Adoption — owns business system initiatives, from requirements through testing, UAT, rollout, training handoff, adoption, and measured results.
  • Scope – Primary platform: Titan/Titan3000, the system of record. Secondary scope: Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint‑based workflows; reporting and data flows tied to operational systems; integrations between systems and workflow automation; system testing, UAT, and adoption; vendor coordination and recurring‑issue analysis; business requirements for technology improvements.
  • Boundaries – Business Systems does not own every application simply because it is software. It owns business applications that directly enable operational processes. Infrastructure, devices, cybersecurity, identity, and AI or custom‑tool development sit with Technology (CTO/IT); the Business Systems Specialist configures and integrates what Technology and existing platforms already provide.

Requirements

  • Titan/Titan3000 fluency — configuration, modules, permissions, workflows, and reporting.
  • Practical build skills in Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint‑based workflows.
  • Data‑driven diagnosis — reading transaction data to spot recurring issues and adoption gaps.
  • Process‑to‑system translation and project/UAT discipline.
  • Change and adoption management, and clear stakeholder communication.
  • Vendor management.

Measures of Success

  • Titan system uptime and stability.
  • Recurring‑issue volume, trending down over time.
  • Process requirements translated into shipped system solutions.
  • Adoption rate of deployed solutions at 30/60/90 days then quarterly.
  • Measurable time or cost saved per project, confirmed with Finance.

Career Path

Business Systems Specialist → Senior Business Systems Specialist → Business Systems Manager / Business Applications Manager. ERP remains a major platform within the function at every step.
