Business Systems Specialist

About the role

The Business Systems Specialist Associate supports the optimization and maintenance of business systems with a focus on leveraging no-code database(s) to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency. As a member of the Innovation team, this role collaborates with departments across the firm to understand workflow needs, support the implementation of tailored solutions, and assist in maintaining effective and scalable business processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, implement, and administer business systems and operational workflows to improve efficiency and consistency across the firm.
• Conduct system audits and data quality reviews to maintain data accuracy, system integrity, and operational effectiveness.
• Aid in the design, maintenance, and enhancement of no-code database(s) to support departmental and firm-wide business needs.
• Support automation and workflow improvement initiatives, including configuration, testing, and documentation of solutions that reduce manual processes and improve efficiency.
• Afford user support for business systems and technology platforms, helping answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and support adoption of new tools and processes.

• Assist in the development of user documentation, training materials, and process resources to support effective system utilization.
• Support reporting, dashboard development, and data analysis activities, helping teams monitor business processes, operational performance, and key business metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with no-code automation platforms preferred, including customization, scripting, and integration capabilities.
• Experience using no-code automation platforms, or exposure to programming languages such as JavaScript or Python.
• Ability to manage projects from concept through implementation, with strong attention to detail and execution.
• Ability to research, test, and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities, with a resourceful approach to developing solutions.
