Business Systems Senior Analyst - Manager

About the role

David creates tools to increase muscle and decrease fat. Our first product is a protein bar. More broadly, David is a platform to develop high-protein, low-calorie, blood-sugar-friendly foods that are craveable. This is a compelling opportunity to join an exciting new food brand as we enter a critical growth stage. We have strong aspirations to become the most popular high-protein bar in North America and beyond.

Responsibilities

• NetSuite Administration & Maintenance
  • Serve as the internal NetSuite point of contact, maintaining configuration, saved searches/reports, documentation of key workflows/capabilities, and permissions.
  • Test and deploy new features or workflows as NetSuite releases updates; manage UAT for changes.
  • Support workflow automation and scripting troubleshooting with SuiteFlow and SuiteScript.
• Systems Design & Ownership
  • Translate business needs across Finance, Retail, and Supply Chain into clear system requirements and configuration guidance.
  • Validate system design decisions for scalability, data accuracy, and process integrity; flag risks and recommend long-term solutions.
  • Act as a functional subject-matter expert across all tools, ensuring each system supports David’s overall operating model.
• Integrations & Data Flow
  • Own the data flows and integrations feeding NetSuite end to end (e.g., WMS, Tray.io, Owlery).
  • Monitor integration health, troubleshoot sync and data errors, and own root-cause fixes in-house.
  • Coordinate with vendors and managed-service partners when escalation is genuinely warranted, and steadily reduce how often that’s needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a technical systems analyst, NetSuite functional consultant, or data architect supporting Finance and Supply Chain teams.
• Deep working knowledge of NetSuite ERP.
• Hands-on experience with system integrations between NetSuite and across integrations (Tray.io, Supabase, or similar tools), coordinating with vendors / managed-service partners.
• Familiarity with supply chain and accounting operations.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot issues and collaborate with vendors as needed.
• Strong communicator who can translate system complexity into clear, actionable guidance for cross-functional teams.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a desire to help build an early-stage CPG company and a willingness to learn.
• Experience in a high-growth or CPG, operations-heavy environment preferred.

Pay

Salary: $100-165K per year, inclusive of cash bonus based on attainment of company targets.

Schedule

We work in the office 5 days per week in New York City.
