About the Role
As a Business Systems Senior Analyst at Zimmer Biomet, you will gather user requirements and develop business cases for solutions, including ad-hoc analyses and self-service reporting tools. You will work with cross-functional teams and colleagues in the analytics Center of Excellence (COE) to drive innovation and support our mission of enhancing patient mobility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ad-hoc and routine analyses with appropriate communication to users and requestors.
- Develop a comprehensive suite of standard and ad-hoc reports to support brand performance assessments at the territory, region, and brand levels.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop efficient automated systems for seamless and efficient report delivery.
- Create report mock-ups and data visualizations to improve understanding of business problems and analytical insights.
- Uncover commercial opportunities and challenges at the territory, region, and brand levels.
- Identify opportunities to improve information delivery mechanisms through enhanced processes or superior technology.
- Collaborate with advanced data science, data quality, market research, and other analytics teams to deliver comprehensive analytical solutions.
- Drive continued improvement of data quality management for reporting systems used by Data and Analytics.
- Work closely with IT to align systems and technology roadmaps for analytic tools, processes, and structures.
- Adopt advanced IT technologies and software solutions to perform highly technical simulations and analyses, addressing evolving business models and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology and Management, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related position.
- At least 3 years of experience with the following:
- Reporting and analytics tools such as SAS/Base programming, R, SQL, Excel, VBA, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Big data tools and technologies such as AWS or Azure.
- Data quality management, including spotting and eliminating inaccuracies in data.
Schedule
- Position permits remote work up to 5 days per week throughout the U.S.
- Role requires 10% domestic travel.
