Business Systems Manager

Role & Responsibilities

• Researches and troubleshoots problems related to business systems.
• Completes business systems tickets as part of the business systems team.
• Provides expert guidance on functionalities, customization options, and best practices for efficient property accounting and operations processes.
• Led and supports smaller-scale Yardi projects such as module configuration updates, workflow adjustments, form changes, and process rollouts.
• Manages user security groups, permissions, property lists, menus, and other customized configurations to support data integrity and reporting accuracy.
• Coordinates with relevant departments for testing and end user training during significant system updates/upgrades.
• Supports the data conversion process, including building and managing ETL’s and Yardi-to-Yardi data transfers.
• Resolves end-user support requests via ticketing system, maintaining compliance with service level agreements and facilitating a positive customer experience by liaising with Yardi support when necessary.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging Yardi capabilities to improve efficiency through workflow automation and process enhancement.
• Aids in the delivery of related key metrics to support and improve processes.
• Contributes to the planning and completion of special projects as needed.
• Communicates resolution of issues professionally to all levels of the organization and effectively escalates issues when required.

Skills / Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of Yardi user experience, preferably in the multi-family space
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with different teams to drive process improvements
• Careful attention to detail; completes projects efficiently and accurately
• Able to clearly communicate details of an issue, whether via solution or escalation
• On-site community experience a plus

Pay

The anticipated pay range for this remote position is $90,000-$95,000. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, internal equity, and geographic location. This role may also be eligible for additional compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
