About the role
The Business Systems Analytics Section Supervisor will lead all business systems analytics, overseeing process improvement initiatives, system migrations, and serving as a key liaison between internal and external teams.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a cross-functional team of business systems analysts, software quality assurance (SQA) testers, and training personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of multiple, complex projects, from requirements gathering to final delivery, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
- Bridge the gap between external Process Improvement and Project Management teams and internal Development and Support teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Establish, implement, and refine agile project management methodologies for the Business Systems Analytics team to improve efficiency and responsiveness.
- Oversee process improvement and migration efforts, using root cause analysis and value stream mapping to identify inefficiencies and design optimized workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to elicit, document, and translate functional requirements into clear technical specifications.
- Lead Quality Assurance (QA) and testing efforts for new software releases and automated processes to ensure they are reliable, effective, and meet quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for project updates, and managing expectations.
- Manage the development and delivery of comprehensive training and support to end-users on newly implemented solutions to ensure successful adoption and utilization.
Requirements
- BS degree and 12 years of progressive and relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of a secret security clearance and the AEDC local area network.
- Current US Citizenship required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management, including the implementation of Agile and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- 5+ years in a lead, supervisory, or leadership centric role.
- Demonstrated expertise in process analysis, workflow optimization, and requirements gathering.
- Hands-on experience with no-code/low-code process automation platforms (e.g., BPLogix Process Director).
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as PowerBI for creating metrics and dashboards.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong customer and personnel relationships.
- Strong experience with Software Quality Assurance (SQA) development, testing, and test case creation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience working within Government, Military, or large-scale construction/industrial contract environments.
