Business Systems Analyst, Sr Specialist

About the role

Schwab is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our Voice Channel Product Management team and assist with supporting the full lifecycle of a set of Schwab's contact center products, including data, reporting, and call routing workstreams. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and self-driven individual that thrives in a fast-paced technical development environment.

This role provides an opportunity to leverage strong analytical skills to solve complex business problems across multiple functional areas, while also providing technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and applications to support client requirements. The Business Systems Analyst will manage the intake of business requests and partner with Business, Product, and Technology teams to research and resolve complex system and data issues, translate business needs into technical solutions, document requirements and user stories, develop functional systems documentation, build key relationships with stakeholders, and communicate with partners.

This role is critical in driving significant enhancements and streamlining processes that shorten time-to-market for our products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements.
• Write business and technical documentation, including requirements, use cases, user stories, workflow diagrams, activity diagrams, and wireframes.
• Work with data, including familiarity with database structures and concepts.
• Perform impact analysis and understand data changes in upstream/downstream systems.
• Analyze data, data flows, and generate data mappings to provide business solutions.
• Participate in Agile practices, including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of executive-level presentations.
• Grasp complex concepts and large architectures quickly, including new technologies.
• Work independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, technical and business partners, peers, and leaders across a distributed workforce.
• Handle tasks with competing priorities.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS degree.
• Strong SQL query experience.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with contact center data and technology.
• Knowledge and practice in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
• Experience in the financial industry.
