About the role

T-Mobile is a data driven, AI informed, digital first company. This position is responsible for gathering, analyzing, testing and creating comprehensive work products documenting user stories, including validation and traceability, for existing and new applications supporting various business channels.

This position understands how organizations function to accomplish their purpose, and defines capabilities an organization requires to provide a service or meet their goals. This position facilitates communication between organizational units to align the needs of business units in order to create requirement work products for solution providers.

Responsibilities

  • Foster business knowledge and understanding among business systems analysts and project stakeholders.
  • Broker consensus among stakeholders with conflicting needs.
  • Apply problem solving and critical thinking to resolve complex business challenges and inform sound decisions.
  • Elicit and evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requests.
  • Facilitate requirement sessions with stakeholders and create comprehensive work products in JIRA, including data definition, and creating features and user stories, with validation and traceability of requests.
  • Has understanding on how projects align to broader organizational goals and business benefit.
  • Provide SME leadership and consulting support on complex tasks.
  • Initiate and execute initiatives to improve the processes, procedures, and tools utilized by the team.
  • Review deliverables and provides input for other analysts.
  • Strong understanding of all business channels.
  • Create and determine modeling approach to represent requirement information in graphical forms that augment textual representation.
  • Develop a business analysis work-plan to manage own tasks, deliverables, schedule and provides information to stakeholders and Project Management.
  • Facilitate business leadership and other company stakeholders in the definition of business roadmaps.
  • Explore and apply emerging technologies, including AI use and adoption, agentic solutions, and automation, to identify opportunities that improve business systems, processes, and outcomes.
  • Champion new ideas and drives continuous improvement across the team.

Qualifications

Education: Required: Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience. Acceptable areas of study include Quantitative discipline

  • Required: 4-7 years systems analysis experience with understanding strategic business information systems.
  • Business Systems Analysis - Understand how policies, systems and processes impact requests/projects.
  • Test execution and test strategy (UAT, BVT and Regression)
  • Business/Technical Writing
  • Agile Experience
  • SQL, Python or related
  • Business Acumen - Apply strong understanding of T-Mobile's business, industry, and strategic objectives to inform analysis, prioritization, and decisions.
  • Business Process - Serve as a process expert who maps, evaluates, and improves business processes to drive efficient, effective outcomes.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $80,900 - $146,000. Corporate Bonus Target: 15%. The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
