Business Systems Analyst Sr Lead

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Business Systems Analyst Sr Lead to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will drive analysis and solution design for core financial services systems, bridging business needs with technical delivery across complex lending and transaction environments. You will partner closely with developers, testers, and business stakeholders to define requirements, improve processes, and support end-to-end system effectiveness. The position also plays a key role in evaluating solution value, documenting metrics, and ensuring testing readiness for business-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Define system scope and objectives through research
• Collaborate with technical teams on COBOL-based applications
• Translate business requirements into system specifications
• Document business processes and metrics
• Evaluate ROI and cost/benefit of solutions
• Re-engineer processes for improved efficiency
• Develop and execute test plans and cases

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
• Expertise in advanced lending systems
• Familiarity with financial services system products
• Strong understanding of the financial services industry
• Proficient in software development life cycles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Compensation

$125,850 – $213,950 annually
