Business Systems Analyst / Onsite in Rock Mount NC

About the role

This individual will work closely with stakeholders, product teams, and technical resources to gather requirements, develop user stories, and support delivery across ongoing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Work in Agile environments (Scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement, etc.)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, development, and QA
• Communicate effectively and manage stakeholder expectations
• Document discussions and meetings into clear, structured documentation
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate requirements

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst
• Strong experience working in Agile environments
• Experience working closely with cross-functional teams
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate discussions and meetings into clear, structured documentation
• Experience supporting UAT and validating requirements

Qualifications

• Experience working with or supporting public sector or government clients
• Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to assist with documentation or workflow efficiency
• Exposure to system or process improvement initiatives
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Experience supporting modernization or transformation efforts
