Location: Whitehall, OH Salary: $50.00 USD Hourly - $55.00 USD Hourly Description: Our client is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst (IT): III (Senior) Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst (Technical Delivery) Location: Columbus OH Duration: Contract to Hire Job Description The client is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (Technical Delivery) to serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. This role is responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, supporting Agile delivery teams, analyzing data and integrations, coordinating security and compliance efforts, and ensuring successful implementation and support of enterprise technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis, technical analysis, data analysis, and stakeholder management skills with experience supporting enterprise applications in a complex environment. Must Have Skills 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience Requirements gathering and documentation User stories, acceptance criteria, process flows SQL and data analysis API and system integration experience Agile/Scrum methodologies Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence SDLC knowledge Production support and incident management Strong stakeholder communication skills Key Responsibilities Business & Technical Analysis Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation activities. Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements. Analyze applications, APIs, integrations, data flows, and system dependencies. Recommend process improvements and technology solutions. Agile Delivery & Project Support Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and release activities. Track dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables. Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver solutions. Data, Integration & Reporting Perform SQL-based data analysis and validation. Create data mappings and integration specifications. Develop operational and ad hoc reports. Security, Compliance & Risk Management Support vulnerability remediation initiatives. Ensure compliance with security, audit, privacy, and regulatory standards. Participate in risk assessments and compliance reviews. Testing & Production Support Assist in UAT, defect management, and test planning. Support incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution. Maintain support documentation and operational procedures. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Act as liaison between business, technology teams, and vendors. Facilitate meetings and status communications. Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices. Required Qualifications and Certifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field OR 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience supporting enterprise technology initiatives Preferred Financial Services or highly regulated industry experience Experience with APIs, Web Services, and Microservices Cloud exposure (Azure or AWS) Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Experience with security remediation efforts Exposure to monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or AppDynamics Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available to qualified candidates who meet eligibility requirements.
