Business Systems Analyst III
Department Summary
The Business Systems Analyst III serves as a senior-level functional and technical analyst who leads requirement definition, system design, cross-platform integration, and enterprise-wide process improvements.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Works independently on complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Leads requirements engagements end-to-end, owns BRDs and process documentation, and actively contributes to system design and integration decisions.
- Leads complex requirements gathering sessions and translates business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Owns cross-functional solution design for ERP, MES, HRIS, and reporting systems.
- Manages medium to large system projects including scope definition, testing cycles, and change management.
- Designs advanced SQL queries, data models, metrics, and Power BI dashboards supporting enterprise analytics.
- PARTNERS WITH DEVELOPERS, ARCHITECTS, AND BUSINESS OWNERS TO EVALUATE SYSTEM CAPABILITIES AND PROPOSE ENHANCEMENTS.
- DEFINES SYSTEM GOVERNANCE STANDARDS, DOCUMENTATION GUIDELINES, AND INTEGRATION SPECIFICATIONS.
- EVALUATES SYSTEM PERFORMANCE, IDENTIFIES ROOT CAUSES OF ISSUES, AND DRIVES LONG-TERM CORRECTIVE ACTIONS.
- MENTORS JUNIOR ANALYSTS AND CONTRIBUTES TO DEPARTMENT TRAINING AND STANDARDS.
- SUPPORTS SAP ECC/S4, AUTOTIME, SUCCESSFACTOR, AND OTHER ENTERPRISE APPS WITH ADVANCED TRoubleshooting.
Basic Qualifications
- S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident (ITAR/EAR requirement).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and project coordination skills.
- Advanced experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Autotime, or similar.
- Proficiency with SQL, data modeling, and enterprise reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading enterprise-scale system implementations.
- Advanced Power BI experience and DAX expertise.
- Knowledge of integration tools, APIs, middleware, or EDI.
- Experience mentoring junior analysts or leading cross-functional workgroups.
Wage Information
Wage range for this role is between $85K-$96K, plus benefits and eligibility for a discretionary bonus. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, offsite work, or access assignments.
Shift Availability
- Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 0600-1430 (with some flexibility).
