Business Systems Analyst II - The Toro Company

About the role

The Business Systems Analyst II position within The Toro Company's IT department focuses on managing and supporting various digital products for the Abilene office. Key responsibilities include analyzing business processes, designing and implementing system functionality, providing user support, and translating business requirements into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and apply system functionality to improve efficiency.
• Conduct research and create documentation on new functionality, validate concepts, and transfer knowledge to users.
• Apply best practices, coordinate testing, conduct data and process analysis, implement data avoidance, and remove or archive data to maintain system integrity.
• Support users by troubleshooting issues, proposing process enhancements, conducting data queries and updates, and providing training.
• Translate business requirements into effective technical specifications by gaining a thorough understanding of business and system processes.
• Provide software or technology solutions.
• Work independently and complete assignments at milestones to ensure compliance with organizational processes, standards, and policies.
• Participate in projects and may serve as a technical or project lead in certain aspects of a project.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or more than four (4) years of related experience, or eight (8) years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with business systems (ERPs, CRMs) and business process improvement techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Visio.
• Desire to be challenged and continuously learn new skills.
• Ability to organize work, establish priorities, and follow through energetically.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical users to complete work assignments.
