Business Systems Analyst I (Temporary - Carteret)
About the role
The Business Systems Analyst I within the DMF IT section supports the analysis, design, and improvement of business and program systems that enable the Division of Marine Fisheries to operate efficiently. The role evaluates existing applications and business processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, develops and recommends technology solutions, and assists with the implementation and management of key systems that support DMF programs. The position also serves as a liaison between business staff and technical teams, helping translate operational needs into system requirements, supporting testing and training efforts, and contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives that enhance productivity and data management across the division.
Responsibilities

Requirements
This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution in a discipline related to the area of assignment with two years of programmatic experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Pay
$30.00 per hour (Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification).
