About the role
We are seeking a Technology Product Analyst to drive continuous discovery, business analysis, and solution planning across a portfolio of technology products and data solutions. This individual will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams by identifying opportunities, defining requirements, analyzing business processes, and helping to shape the roadmap. The ideal candidate will work with software engineers, product owners, and business leaders to ensure technology solutions deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Congocting ongoing engagement with business stakeholders to understand goals, pain points, and evolving needs.
- Identifying opportunities for automation, operational improvement, and process optimization.
- Eliciting, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
- Translating business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and solution requirements.
- Partnering with engineering teams to define solution scope and priorities.
- Aiding with backlog management and sprint planning activities.
- Analyzing business data and operational metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
- Building trusted relationships with business and technology partners.
- Facilitating discovery workshops, interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
- This role requires 5+ years of Information Technology experience in support of Business Services, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience. This includes 3-7 years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, or similar roles.
- Specific experience with Requirements Gathering and Analysis (4-6 years) and Kanban (4-6 years) is necessary.
- Candidates must have experience with Jira (2-4 years), creating user stories, and working within Agile delivery frameworks.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting software development teams.
- Familiarity with SQL and data analysis.
- Experience with data platforms, analytics, and reporting solutions.
- Knowledge of Agile product management practices.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar planning tools.
- Exposure to AI, automation, and data-driven transformation initiatives.
