Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – IT Infrastructure & Enterprise Applications

Location: Pontiac, Michigan Pay Rate: $40.00 per hour Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week Location Requirement: Candidates must be local to Pontiac, MI, or the surrounding area. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, and technology improvement initiatives. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams supporting network infrastructure, servers, workstation services, Microsoft 365, VoIP telecommunications, and IT service operations. Candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant IT experience and be available to work onsite in Pontiac, Michigan, two days per week. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for infrastructure and enterprise application projects. Collaborate with IT teams supporting networking, servers, workstations, Microsoft 365, telecommunications, and service center operations. Develop functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, and system documentation. Support enterprise application configuration, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance. Assist with ServiceNow integrations, including Asset Management, Inventory Management, CMDB Discovery, and Webex. Analyze operational data, identify trends, and recommend process and system improvements. Develop and execute test plans, document results, track defects, and coordinate issue resolution. Support Agile and Scrum project activities using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO). Prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs), contract documentation, and statements of work or scopes of deliverables. Create procedures, training materials, and user documentation to support technology adoption. Coordinate with stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure project deliverables meet business requirements. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Information Technology, Business Systems Analysis, Application Support, or a related technical field. 3+ years of experience supporting Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, or comparable enterprise project and construction management platforms. Experience with ServiceNow integrations, including Asset Management, Inventory Management, CMDB Discovery, and Webex. Strong proficiency with the Microsoft 365 Productivity Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. Demonstrated experience with data analytics, reporting, and business data analysis. Experience with enterprise application configuration, implementation, administration, and support. Knowledge of software testing, test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and test automation tools such as Worksoft or similar platforms. Experience working within Agile and Scrum environments and using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO). Ability to gather and document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and business processes. Understanding of on-premises, cloud-hosted, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology environments. Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to independently manage assignments, collaborate with stakeholders, and meet project deadlines. Availability to work onsite in Pontiac, MI, two days per week. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Telecommunications Expense Management (TEM). Experience preparing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), vendor contracts, and project scope documentation. Knowledge of Pandell Land Property Management software. Experience with Hitachi Energy eSOMS. Experience supporting field devices and associated software applications. Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement practices. Experience developing dashboards, operational reports, and performance metrics.
