About the role
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) plays a crucial role in enhancing organizational efficiency through the implementation and optimization of IT solutions. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis to identify system improvements and new technologies that can enhance business processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system requirements, specifications, and user guides.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and management to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users to ensure they are utilizing systems effectively.
- Participate in project planning and execution, including requirement gathering, testing, and post-implementation reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or Asana.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
- Experience with data analysis tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java.
