Business Systems Analyst
Role Summary
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for bridging business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver optimized solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Business Central (BC).

Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis & Requirements
- Gather and document functional requirements from Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis across F&O and Business Central.
- Translate business requirements into functional design documents (FDDs).
- Recommend process improvements aligned with Microsoft best practices.
- Solution Design & Configuration
- Configure standard ERP functionality.
- Support chart of accounts, posting profiles, workflows, and approval hierarchies.
- Validate system setup across legal entities and business units.
- Ensure alignment with global template and governance standards.
- Testing & Deployment
- Develop test scripts and lead UAT sessions.
- Capture and resolve defects with development team.
- Support data migration validation and reconciliation.
- Aid in go-live planning and hypercare support.
- Reporting & Data
- Support reporting requirements including: Financial reports, Operational dashboards, KPI analysis.
- Work with reporting teams to validate data integrity.
- Support integrations and master data governance.
- Production Support & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze incidents and recommend long-term solutions.
- Identify automation and optimization opportunities.
- Support enhancement backlog prioritization.
- Provide user training and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years ERP Business Analyst experience.
- 3+ years hands-on experience with D365 F&O and/or Business Central.
- Strong understanding of: Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), Inventory and costing processes.
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Technical Skills:
- ERP configuration (F&O and/or BC).
- Understanding of: Data entities, Posting logic, Dimensions, Intercompany accounting.
- Basic knowledge of integrations (APIs, OData).
- Familiarity with: Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to challenge business processes constructively.
- Clear documentation skills.
- Ability to work across technical and functional teams.
- Comfortable in global, multi-entity environments.
