Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains profitable small business banking relationships within the Consumer Bank by focusing on the holistic and long-term needs of business owners and their business.
- Identifies needs, recommends deposit, treasury, loan products, negotiates deposit and loan terms, coordinates loan approvals and closings, opens and manages deposit accounts, and refers clients to key partners within the company.
- Develops core client relationships with existing clients and finds new opportunities for First Financial in the small business segment.
- Manages an existing portfolio of clients, seeks opportunities to work with employees of clients, introduces clients to partners as needed, and prospects for new clients through networking and external calling efforts with internal and external partners.
- Provides training, coaching, and guidance to assigned districts and banking centers to promote the development and growth in the small business segment.
Requirements
- Knowledge of small business banking products and services.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using banking software and systems.
- Experience in managing and growing client portfolios.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in small business banking or related field.
- Proven track record of successful client acquisition and retention.
- Experience in managing and growing client portfolios.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
