About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Technical Product Coordinator to own the health of our team's Jira backlog, drive execution planning across our product improvement initiatives, and serve as a key liaison between engineering, leadership, and customers. This role blends backlog management discipline with strategic planning and stakeholder communication.

    • Facilitate backlog refinement sessions with engineering and product stakeholders
    • Ensure epics, stories, and tasks are appropriately scoped, sequenced, and linked to broader initiatives
    • Monitor sprint/cycle health, flag blockers, and maintain accurate status reporting (burndown, velocity, throughput)
    • Establish and enforce consistent ticket hygiene standards (naming conventions, acceptance criteria, definition of done)
  • Jira Administration & Optimization
    • Build and manage Jira automation rules to reduce manual work (e.g., auto-assigning issues, status transitions, notifications, SLA escalations)
    • Design and maintain Jira dashboards providing real-time visibility into sprint health, velocity, burndown/burnup, and cumulative flow
    • Build and manage timelines/roadmaps (using Jira Timeline, Advanced Roadmaps, or Structure) to visualize cross-team dependencies and delivery milestones
    • Use JQL (Jira Query Language) to create custom filters, saved searches, and reports for stakeholders
    • Maintain data integrity and consistent ticket hygiene (labeling, components, versions, priorities) across projects
  • Execution Planning
    • Partner with engineering leads and product owners to build and maintain roadmaps for product improvements
    • Translate strategic priorities into actionable, sequenced execution plans with clear milestones and owners
    • Identify dependencies, risks, and resourcing gaps across concurrent workstreams
    • Track progress against plans and proactively surface schedule risks to leadership
    • Run regular planning cadences (sprint planning, quarterly roadmap reviews, retrospectives)
  • Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding product updates, timelines, and issue status
    • Gather and synthesize customer feedback into actionable backlog items
    • Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align expectations
    • Support customer-facing meetings, demos, and check-ins as needed
  • Communications
    • Draft and distribute regular status updates, release notes, and roadmap communications to stakeholders and leadership
    • Create clear, concise materials (decks, dashboards, written summaries) translating technical work into business-relevant language
    • Coordinate cross-team communication to ensure alignment on priorities and timelines
    • Manage announcements related to feature releases, changes, or known issues
