About the Role

The Business Planning Manager facilitates the business planning process across the business unit and drives alignment with strategic priorities. This role is accountable for the end-to-end Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, including demand review, supply review, executive review, and financial reconciliation. The Business Planning Manager ensures consistent use of data and processes, continuously improving accuracy and quality. Additionally, this role owns the improvement agenda for Leviton’s Responsive Manufacturing Process (RMP) and manages cross-functional projects for its rollout.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Product Management to adjust long-term forecast volumes to optimize manufacturing and operations capacity.
  • Identify and implement improvements within the Rapid Response Manufacturing (RRM) process.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing operations and planning to identify production bottlenecks and recommend actions for supply-chain changes.
  • Design Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure plants meet customer demand within promised lead times.
  • Plan and support the RRM process with stakeholders across the Commercial & Industrial business unit, supply chain, and factory contacts.
  • Lead two monthly presentations to executive and cross-functional teams on demand planning activities.
  • Transform sales pipeline data and field intelligence into demand signals.
  • Participate in supply planning meetings and report key takeaways.
  • Summarize industry reports to inform executive perspectives.
  • 10% domestic and international travel to Mexico (up to 20% total travel).

Requirements

  • Four years of post-baccalaureate experience in business planning or supply chain management.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Smartsheet, or equivalent systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.
