About the role
In this role, you will help shape the future of the Precision Medicine organization as a key member of the PMed Strategic Planning and Operations team. We are seeking a Seasoned Business Performance Manager to join our group of leaders and business partners on a high-priority initiative focused on simplifying one of the largest cross-functional processes—driving meaningful value across the enterprise. Reporting into the Strategic Planning and Operations function within PMed, the Senior Business Performance Manager will support one or more transformation initiatives spanning end-to-end R&D processes.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the SPO and workstream leaders to help plan, execute, monitor, and control activities to meet established goals and objectives within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and budget.
- Ensure project plans, actions, and decisions are documented, and progress is communicated to key stakeholders.
- Facilitate team meetings and communications, including proactively creating schedules, agendas, minutes, action items, memos, presentations, and other documents.
- Apply knowledge and understanding of team objectives, escalating issues to leaders as appropriate.
- Work closely with team leads to accurately map end-to-end processes in the Precision Medicine space.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated results navigating through ambiguous business processes.
- Experience managing complex workforce strategy/R&D projects, including developing and executing project plans.
- Experience generating project documentation (e.g., charters, plans with goals, objectives, deliverables, resources, risk mitigation, timelines).
- Effective meeting management practices, including scheduling, preparation, minutes, and follow-up on action items.
- Ability to develop role-based curriculum using business templates and one-on-one interviews with key leadership.
- Familiarity with Research and Development processes in a science-based company or similar industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, curious, and high learning agility.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational skills.
- Flexibility, resilience, and ability to adapt as the business evolves.
- Strong critical thinking with the ability to synthesize facts and insights for problem-solving and decision-making.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams.
Basic Requirements
- Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience, OR
- Master’s degree and 4 years of experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience, OR
- Associate’s degree and 10 years of experience, OR
- High school diploma/GED and 12 years of experience.
