About the role
Johnson Controls, a global leader in thermal management, mission-critical building systems, energy efficiency, and decarbonization, seeks a Business Partner - Sales Learning to lead the delivery and execution of successful training solutions for the company's sales team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery and execution of successful training solutions aligned with the specific needs of the JCI’s newly hired and tenured sales team members.
- Collaborate with key partners to meet training needs and design detailed training modules to meet overall program goals.
- Deliver program sessions, measure program effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.
- Use strong business acumen, Sales experience, project management skills, and facilitation experience to operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Build a continuum of learning and skill building for the Sales organization and support field technical training needs as required.
- Manage and interface with internal and external partners to achieve program objectives.
- Evaluate existing programs for effectiveness and redesign solutions when necessary.
- Provide constructive feedback to learners on their understanding of new materials and their performance in the classroom.
- Develop and present recommendations for continuous improvements to sales and business training.
Requirements
- Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related fields.
- 3+ years in Sales or Operations Training, Sales Engineering, and/or Sales Enablement role.
- Previous Sales and Operations training experience preferred.
- 4+ years in Training Development and Delivery.
- Very comfortable with grey areas; can adapt and change to meet business needs.
- Realizes the importance of details in leading to impactful outcomes.
- Buils true partnerships with other learning designers, program managers, and business partners.
- Willing to assume authority, take risks, and set clear goals for career development.
- Has personal ethics, does quality work, and has a positive attitude.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Quick to grasp how building environments are created and business lines organized.
- Knowledge of Security and Fire equipment and related technologies, products, and market is a huge plus.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
Qualifications
- Competitive salary range: $90,000-110,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).
- Virtual/remote position considering candidates who reside within the Eastern and Central time zones of the United States.
