About the role

MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Business Operations Specialists to join our team in Herndon, Virginia; Dallas, Texas; and Oahu, Hawaii. Multiple levels of seniority are available based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the internal business rhythm, organizational workflows, and master administrative controls within a Program Management Office.
  • Authorizes procedural standards for executive correspondence, validates information dissemination protocols, and implements process improvements to optimize administrative efficiency.
  • Orchestrates administrative support operations for a large-scale logistics and sustainment program across the Pacific theater, ensuring seamless headquarters synchronization.
  • Manages executive calendar synchronization, coordinates high-level meeting requirements, and directs the tracking of contract-wide action items and milestones.
  • Oversees the preparation, review, and routing of official program correspondence and deliverable notifications to Mission Partners to maintain operational readiness.
  • Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in office automation tools, calendar management, and database tracking systems.
  • Must hold an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Senior Level

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field and 10+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).

Midlevel

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field and 3+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).

Junior Level

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting PMO operations for USSOCOM or USPACOM major commands.
  • Expertise in managing executive-level military correspondence and action-item tracking systems.
  • Professional certification in Project or Operations Management (e.g., PMP or CAPM).

Physical Requirements

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
