About the role
The Business Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and efficient delivery of services, maintaining compliance with client service level agreements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance organizational performance. This is a vital, client-facing, team-supporting role within the highly effective global team that operates and enhances healthcare technical solutions. This is a remote position within the State of New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day business operations for all areas of delivery related to Provider Screening, Enrollment and Monitoring, including:
- Document Management and Workflow Performance
- Provider Data Management
- Provider Support Services (training and site visits)
- Provider Enrollment Call Center
- Direct Operations functional teams across the MMIS business and work independent of supervision.
- Oversee programs with a typical team size of 35-50 resources, including leaders/direct reports within the operations.
- Oversee compliance to Service Level Agreements, monitor and track client-specific SLAs to ensure they are met. If an SLA is not met, work with teams on corrective actions to prevent future misses.
- Work closely with subcontractors (when applicable) and vendors, providing input for subcontractor and vendor contracts.
- Foster and demonstrate thought leadership in improving operations and collaborate with systems in identifying improvements.
- Develop relevant metrics for the Operations function and use metrics as a basis for communication and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of operations methodologies, best practices, and procedures; apply them to projects to ensure Operations team objectives are achieved.
- Interface with senior management and provide industry best practices when called upon.
- Partner with clients, develop effective collaborative client relationships, and analyze issues and problems from the client perspective.
- Keep abreast of new technology and market developments.
- Closely coordinate with Operations Leaders accountable for Change Requests, Project Management, Application System Analysis, Software Quality Assurance, Enterprise Information Services, Delivery Services, and the Enterprise Program Management Office.
- Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including those related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
- 5+ years of operations leadership experience at large complex healthcare organizations.
- Preferred Medicaid systems/MMIS/Provider Module experience.
- Preferred experience leading Provider Screening, Enrollment, and Monitoring.
- Highly organized with analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written) with strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Excellent client relationship skills.
- This role may require up to 25% travel.
For non-clinical roles, or when not required by the contract specifically, the Company acknowledges that practical, hands-on experience can provide skills and competencies equivalent to formal education. As such, in cases where a Bachelor's degree may be required, the Company will accept a minimum of six (6) years of directly relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree. In instances where the candidate has an Associate's degree, the Company will accept a minimum of three (3) years of directly relevant professional experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.

Pay
The pay range for this position is USD $93,040.00 - USD $116,300.00 per year. Based on our compensation philosophy, an applicant’s position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.
