Headway’s mission is to build a new mental healthcare system that everyone can access. We solve the biggest barrier to care: insurance. We automate the admin work, credentialing, claims, and payment reconciliation. We serve over 1 million patients across 50 states. Responsibilities
- Drive complex, cross-functional initiatives that advance pod-level objectives.
- Identify opportunities, address dependencies, and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
- Build and operate scalable workflows and processes (0→1).
- Leverage data tools to extract insights, validate assumptions, and inform decisions.
- Plan, execute, and deliver initiatives end-to-end by setting clear objectives, timelines, and success metrics.
- Coordinate resources and align priorities across teams.
- Take calculated risks and make decisions that advance pod objectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in operational roles at high-growth companies.
- Background in consulting, finance, or business operations preferred but not required.
- Independent problem-solving skills and comfort working through ambiguity.
- Proficiency with AI & data tools (e.g., Looker, Excel, SQL, dashboards).
- Experience designing systems with scale in mind.
- Ability to coordinate resources and align priorities across teams.
- Motivation to make an impact on affordable mental healthcare.

Benefits
- Compensation range: $105,400 - $155,000 based on qualifications and experience.
