About the role

Headway’s mission is to build a new mental healthcare system that everyone can access. We solve the biggest barrier to care: insurance. We automate the admin work, credentialing, claims, and payment reconciliation. We serve over 1 million patients across 50 states. We are a high-growth company with a focus on efficiency, growth, and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Drive complex, cross-functional initiatives that advance pod-level objectives.
  • Identify opportunities, address dependencies, and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
  • Build and operate scalable workflows and processes (0→1).
  • Leverage data tools to extract insights, validate assumptions, and inform decisions.
  • Plan, execute, and deliver initiatives end-to-end by setting clear objectives, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Coordinate resources and align priorities across teams.
  • Take calculated risks and make decisions that advance pod objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in operational roles at high-growth companies.
  • Background in consulting, finance, or business operations preferred but not required.
  • Independent problem-solving skills and comfort working through ambiguity.
  • Proficiency with AI & data tools (e.g., Looker, Excel, SQL, dashboards).
  • Experience designing systems with scale in mind.
  • Ability to coordinate resources and align priorities across teams.
  • Motivation to make an impact on affordable mental healthcare.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Benefits

  • Compensation range: $105,400 - $155,000 based on qualifications and experience.
