About the role

The Assessment Resource Center (ARC) is a self-supporting center in the College of Education & Human Development at the University of Missouri. The mission of the ARC is to provide assessment and evaluation resources to equip educators and leaders with the information they need to make meaningful, data-driven decisions. ARC clients represent a wide variety of institutional and organizational sectors, including pK-12, higher education, and government entities at the local, state, and national levels.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and business operations support for the Assessment Resource Center ensuring efficient financial, operational, and customer service processes.
  • Manage and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivables processing, ensuring accuracy of financial transactions and compliance with university policies and procedures.
  • Work with external parties and coordinate departmental contracts through the University systems, including establishing new vendors and clients in Peoplesoft and ensuring timely processing and compliance.
  • Serve as a backup for customer service support staff by assisting with inventory ordering, shipping, and resolving complex and routine customer inquiries.
  • Prepare and process journal entries as requested by management and serve as a backup approval for journal entry transactions.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Travel and Entertainment (T&E) expense policies and procedures, provide guidance to ARC staff on T&E inquiries, and approve T&E transactions in Peoplesoft.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
  • Three plus years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience with Peoplesoft or similar Finance and Accounting software.
  • Experience with contract management.
  • Strong problem solving and attentiveness to detail.

  • Minimum qualifications: A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Pay

Salary Range: $55,000-$60,000 annually

Schedule

M-F, 8am-5pm
